MI VS DCI

Dr. Sanjay Agrawal
Leading Pharmaceutical consultant and editor-in chief of IJMToday

Inositol Balance:

Normal MI to DCI ratio threshold: 100:1 – 70:1

PCOS women ratio: 0.2:1

Need of High concentration of MI in oocyte

High energy status (glucose utilization) in oocyte requiring high MI to DCI ratio.

Oocyte quality

High MI would give good quality oocyte where as high DCI would yield low quality oocytes leading to infertility.
