Brief Product Information on ASPIVIT K-27

COMPOSITION:

Each soft gelatin capsules contain, Calcium Citrate Maleate 500 mg, Calcitriol .25 mcg, Magnesium 50mg, Vitamin K-27; 50 mcg, Zinc Sulphate 22.5 mg. 

DESCRIPTION:

Aspivit K27 capsules contain all the important minerals such as calcium citrate maleate, magnesium and zinc along with imp vitamins i.e., calcitriol, the active form of Vitamin D3 and Vitamin D27, essential for healthy mineralization of bones.

Regular intake of Aspivit K-27 capsules increases BMD, bone mineral density and helps in prevention as well as treatment of osteoporosis.

INDICATIONS:

• Chronic kidney disorders
• Bone remodeling
• Menopausal disorders

DOSES:

1 Aspivit K-27 capsule daily after lunch with a glass of water or as directed by the physician.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Known or suspected, hyper sensitivity to any of these ingredients.

ADVERSE DRUG REACTIONS:

Aspivit K-27 therapy, is generally well tolerated by majority of the patients. Occasional patient may complain of mild and transient gastric irritation, nausea or constipation.

DRUG INTERATIONS:

Acid suppressants, tetra cyclines, quinolone, anti-biotics may interfere with the absorption of Aspivit K-27 capsules. Hence it is advisable to keep a gap of atleast 2 hours between their administration.
