| Mechanism of action: |
Each capsule of Aspivit-K27 contains all the important minerals such as calcium citrate maleate, magnesium and zinc, along with important vitamins viz. calcitriol, the active form of vitamin D3 and vitaminK27, essential for healthy mineralization of bones. Regular intake of Aspivit-K27 capsules increases BMD and helps in prevention as well as treatment of osteoporosis. |

| Adverse drug reactions: |
Aspivit-K27 therapy is generally well tolerated by majority of patients. Occasional patient may complain of mild and transient gastric irritation,nausea or constipation |
| Drug Interactions: |
Acid suppressants, tetracyclines, quinolone antibiotics may interfere with absorption of Aspivit-K27 capsules. Hence it is advisable to keep a gap of at least two hours between their administration |
