| Description: |
Each tablet of Fenositol provides 1000 mg of myoinositol, 1000 IU of vitamin D3 and active forms of folic acid- L – Methyl Folate and active form of vitamin B6- Pyridoxal -5- Phosphate . Myoinositol helps correct the basic abnormality seen in patients with PCOS. Clinical trials have demonstrated that myoinositol decreases insulin resistance and also lowers serum testosterone in patients with PCOS. In the management of PCOS, Fenositol therapy ensures higher ovulation rates, improves oocyte quality and results in higher pregnancy rates.In IVF Treatment, Fenositol therapy helps reduce dose of rFSH and also improves oocyte quality. |

Adjunctive therapy with Fenositol is indicated in:

| Dosage: |
One to four tablets a day. The exact duration of treatment depends on patient response. The duration of treatment may vary from 6-12 months. |
| Adverse drug reactions: |
All the ingredients of Fenositol are generally very well tolerated by majority of patients. Occasional patients may complain of mild gastric irritation, nausea or vomiting |
| Drug Interactions: |
None reported. If required, it can be safely co-prescribed with metformin or recombinant FSH. |

Known or suspected hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients |
