COMPOSITION:

Each Trygen-BRD tablet contains Trypsin 48mg, Bromelain 90mg, Rutoside Trihydrate 100mg, and Diclofenac Potassium 50mg.

DESCRIPTION:

Trygen-BRD is a unique formulation of Proteolytic enzymes and Bioflavonoids that soothes swelling, inflammation and promotes faster wound healing. This combination is studied to be a safer alternative for several non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) that come with many side effects.

Trypsin and Bromelain are proteolytic enzymes, whose prime function is to modulate the inflammatory processes. The mechanisms opted by these enzymes to reduce the inflammation include reduction of swelling in mucus membrane, reduction of capillary permeability and dissolution of the fibrin deposits at the area of inflammation. These enzymes also break down these cellular debris and other plasma proteins at the sight of infection and thereby promote faster healing of the wounds and infections. Proteolytic digestion of the cell debris addresses sluggish lymphatic system and eases the pain and swelling that are associated with the inflammation. Trypsin and Bromelain also protect the cells against free radical damage. Rutoside is a flavonoid derivative with a strong anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and immune modulating activities. It blocks the platelet aggregation, reduces the capillary permeability and improves the blood circulation. A sluggish circulatory system is one of the major reasons for inflammation, as the body fails to get rid of the free radicals, toxic compounds and cell debris. Rutoside is also an antioxidant that neutralizes the activity of the free radicals at the joints, prevents collagen degeneration and heals the wounds at a faster rate.

Diclofenac Potassium is a potent NSAID with excellent analgesic properties. This drug suppresses the inflammation and its symptoms by inhibiting the leukocyte migration and the activity of the enzyme, cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2).

Cyclooxygenase or the prostaglandin synthetase is the enzyme that synthesizes prostaglandins and other inflammatory mediators from arachidonic acid. These prostaglandins are associated with pain and swelling and suppress their production, which eventually relieve the pain.
