COMPOSITION:

Diclofenac, Dimethyl emene 1.16%, Linseed oil 3%, Methyl Salicylate 10% and Menthol 5%

DESCRIPTION:

Weflam gel is a topical pain relief gel. It contains the combination of Diclofenac, Methyl Salicylate, Menthol and Linseed oil. It is used to treat pain, swelling, inflammation due to muscle, joint related problems. It also helps to relieve pain due to sprains, strains, neck or shoulder pian, muscle stiffness, joint pain, back pain etc. Weflam gel is a topical pain relief preparation.

It consists of four main ingredients.

Diclofenac, Methyl Salicylate, Menthol and Linseed oil. Diclofenac is a pain relieving and anti-inflammatory medicine. It helps in relieving pain, swelling and inflammation. It locally works by reducing the production of inflammatory mediators responsible for pain and swelling.

Menthol and Methyl Salicylic acts as a local counter irritant. They produce local irritation or inflammation and thus improves the inflammation pain at different sites. They also produce a cooling sensation to the skin followed by pain relief.

Linseed oil is known to have anti-inflammatory action and thus improve swelling and pain locally.

INDICATIONS:

• Sports injuries
• Muscle stiffness
• Shoulder pain
• Low back pain

DOSES:

• Apply 3 times in a day at affected place.
• APPLICATION: Apply the gel at affected place and rub it till white film disappears.
• DIRECTION FOR USE: Apply it to the affected parts in a small amount and leave it. Do not apply this gel on open wounds, cuts and burns. Do not wear clothes or gloves at least for 10 minutes after application. Wash your hands after each application of this gel.

CONTRAINDICATIONS AND PRECAUTIONS

If hypersensitivity with any ingredient, please discontinue the gel.

PRECATUTION & WARNINGS:

• You experience any skin reactions such as rashes, itching and irritation after application of this gel.
• You are taking any other medicine or using any topical preparation.
• If you are pregnant or breast feeding, do not use it prolonged duration in larger skin areas. You should not use this gel if you are allergic to any component of this gel. Weflam gel should not be used concomitantly with sunscreen, cosmetics, lotions, moisturizers, insect repellents or other topical medication on the same skin sides. Contact with eyes and mucus membrane should be avoided and incase of contact, wash the area immediately.
