DESCRIPTION

Asmeth Forte has a composition of Methylcobalamin 1.5 mg, Alpha Lipoic acid 100mg L-Methyl Folate 1.5 mg. Pyridoxal 5 Phosphate 3mg. It contains L-Methyl Folate a natural, active form of folic acid, methylcobalamin is a water-soluble form of Vitamin B12. Alpha lipoc acid helps lower blood sugar level. Its ability to inhibit free radicals may help people with diabetic peripheral neuropathy, who have pain, burning, itching, tingling, and numbness in arms and legs from nerve damage. And pyridoxal 5 phosphate an active form of Vitamin B6.

Methlycobalamin is a neurological active form of Vitamin B12 and occurs as a water-soluble vitamin in the body. It is a co-factor in the enzyme methionine synthase, which functions to transfer methyl groups for the regeneration of methionine from homocysteine. In anemia, it increases the erythrocyte production by promoting nucleic acid synthesis in the bone marrow and by promoting maturation and division of erythrocytes.

Alpha lipoic acid, a Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) has been involved in the induction and the progression of damage of many human disorders, such as heart infarction, cerebral ischemia, diabetic neuropathy, Alzheimer’s diseases etc. In several studies, alpha lipoic acid has been described potent anti-oxidant effect. This review highlights recent findings showing that alpha lipoic acid effectively reduces oxidative damage in brain and cardiac ischemia as well as in other pathological events related to reactive oxygen species increasing. Alpha lipoic acid is potent anti-oxidant and are present in broad variety of foods., are also available in several dietary supplements and their side effects are very rare. L-Methyl folate unlike regular folic acid, does not require enzymatic conversion to L-Methyl folate in the body. Pyridoxal 5 phosphate is used by many enzymes. It is readily absorbed by the intestine by the process which is preceded by dephosphorization to form pyridoxine. It helps metabolize homo cysteine to cysteine. CONTRAINDICATIONS

ADVERSE EFFECTS
